Rise Against Hunger focuses on feeding malnourished people in poverty-stricken parts of the world. In addition, Rise Against Focuses has a special mission focusing on communities and areas of the world where women have little education or rights. Rise makes it a mission to provide education and economic opportunity for these women, and by doing so works to create a more resilient community, and by virtue of this fewer hungry people. Each dollar that we raise is packed into meals that are shipped overseas, and during the week of the DASH we will have the opportunity to help pack meals at their local Atlanta location.

Junior Achievement is a fantastic organization that focused on economic empowerment by teaching kids and youth about the principles of money and running a business. While JA is open to all and offers workshops to everyone, the largest beneficiary group of this organization are those in the BIPOC communities where the majority of people live below the poverty line. Junior Achievement believes that if they can help teach children sound money management (often skills that were not taught or available to their parents) they can help break the cycle of poverty in effect lift up these individuals and communities. When we talk about Financial well-being, we can only offer this to our clients. However, by working with Junior achievement, we can help provide financial well-being for all.
